This post I will update when ever i get some new information but this is all the information that i know right now from searching around the net.

There will be a new type of guitar with it (of-course!) it will aparrently have a touch sensitive neck slide that is removable which will allow you to do things much faster and easier as soon as you get the hang of it, there will be a drum set with 3 normal drums, a bass drum and 2 cymbals, there will also be the mic for signing.

The release date is October 27th in the US and the 28th in europe. 

There will be many new songs as well as better online interfaces.

It is actually called Guitar Hero World Tour and Guitar Hero On Tour for Nintendo DS

It will be released on these platforms: PS3, PS2, Xbox 360, Wii.

The prices are: 190$ for the full band box which will include the guitar the drums and the mic Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii. And 180$ for PS2. If you buy online the game and the guitar then it costs 100$ for Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii. And 90$ for PS2. And if you only buy the game then it is 60$ for PS3 and Xbox 360. And 50$ for Wii and PS2.

In the game you will be able to customize your Character, your drums and your guitar. You can make an entire band with your friends. You will be able to compete with other bands online. They will add new songs weekly(if possible). I found that some of the new bands that are going to be in this game are going to be the same as the old one as-well as new: The Eagles, Sublime, Van Halen, and Linkin Park. I know that there have been other new songs that will be added than these so don’t worry if you are affraid that they are going to release bad songs just send your wish lists on the Guitar Hero community area at: http://community.guitarhero.com/ , you may be lucky that they look at your wishes but there are many  other wishes so don’t worry you may end up having a very long song list in your game with the new songs that you will like.
